CRC treats water safety as a very high priority and has a committee led by our club safety advisor who undertakes regular safety checks and ensures the Club's policies are up to date and in line with British Rowing recommendations. However safety is the responsibility of all members, so please take the time to read through the following documents which have been designed to keep everyone at the Club safe.

Towing Guidelines

In recent years there has been much debate and misunderstanding surrounding the legislation that applies to the carriage of oar-propelled racing boats on vehicles, including trailers. The main issue is the distance by which the boat projects beyond the extremities of the vehicle and the action that needs to be taken by the driver to remain within the law.
