Peter Staddon
Club President
Peter is responsible for the planning, organizing and carrying out of any responsibilities associated with the Club's Chief Executive Officer role.
Peter joined the club as a coxswain in 1960 and commenced rowing in 1966. He won Novice, Junior and Junior / Senior and became a Hants and Dorset race official in 1972.
Peter joined the club committee in 1967 and has held several officer positions. He was appointed Chairman in 2002 and President in 2012. He is currently Chairman of the Hants & Dorset rowing association and is a H&D Live Vice-President.
Iam Monks
Club Secretary
The secretary is an officer of the club and is responsible for holding the minutes of the monthly meetings and other administrative tasks.
Terri Fox
Membership Secretary
Terri receives and processes all membership applications and manages the club renewal process. She maintains the current new members list and monitors the banking of all membership fees.
When the ladies rowing squad reformed in 1978, Terri was a part of the team,rowing at several levels and has been a member ever since. She has held several management roles during this time.
Jenny Gould
Lounge Bookings Secretary
Jenny is responsible for the scheduling, booking and payment arrangements for the club lounge. She acts as the coordinator for the club lounge.
Louise Clayton
Club Captain
The Captain is responsible for the Club's rowing provisions being maintained and fairly distributed among all members of the Club. She ensures that satisfactory activities are organised to meet the racing and social needs of the Club. She attends regular meetings relating to Club affairs and helps to ensure all members adhere to the Club's Code of Conduct and other relevant policies.
Lizzy Gardner
Ladies Captain
Lizzy works with the Club Captain and coaches to organize the allocation of equipment for the Ladies' Squad. She is responsible for the logistics involved with the training and racing of the various crews within the squads.
Suzy Cole
Ladies Novice Coordinator
The Novice Coordinator works alongside the Club Captain to co-ordinate the allocation of coaches and equipment to novice rowers. She organises set crews and coxes for regular water sessions.
Jenny Gould
Welfare Officer
It is Jenny's responsibility to provide information and advice on protection of children and adults within the Club and to ensure the Club adopts and follows BR Safeguarding and Protecting Children Policy and procedures. When information from athletes, coaches, young people or their parents who have concerns about the welfare of young people or adults they record the concerns, assesses the information promptly and takes action where appropriate. Jenny is also administers the Club’s DBS checks. She advises the club officers and coaches on appropriate levels of child protection, training and organises relevant training if required.
Abi McMullen
Recreational Coordinator
Abi works along side Graham Hall to coordinate weekday rowing outings.
Mark Sims
Club Chairman
The chairman is responsible for the co-ordination, direction and leadership of the management committee on all aspects of operational management. He supports the management committee members and other personnel in carrying out their roles and responsibilities, providing advice and support as appropriate. He makes decisions on organisational matters.
Mark originally joined CRC in the late 70s and progressed through the sculling and rowing statuses until leaving in '85. He kept in touch by attending the infamous Boxing Day regattas until re-joining after moving back to the area in 2009.
Mike Kelly
Treasurer
Mike is responsible for the collection of all monies, depositing monies, paying bills, issuing receipts, maintaining accurate accounts, preparing year end statements and keeping up-to-date records of all financial transactions. He supports the management committee in a financial and administrative capacity.
Mike has been a member of CRC since 2000, having been inspired to try rowing after the Sydney Olympics. The highlights of his rowing career have been qualifying and racing at Henley Royal Regatta in 2007 and 2009 and racing for the Bideford Bowl in 2006 – although he didn’t win any of these races! He currently competes as part of the Masters group in both sculling and rowing events.

George Bailey-Burnley
Bar / Lounge Manager
The bar manager is responsible for all things relating to the management of the Bar. She is also responsible for application of extension license. She ensures adequate stock is maintained and organises staffing for events.

Men's Captain
Works with the Club Captain and coaches to organize the allocation of equipment for the Men's Squad. They are responsible for the logistics involved with the training and racing of the various crews within the squad.

Steve Aldridge
Junior Coordinator
It is the junior coordinators responsibility to coordinate the junior section of the Rowing Club. H/she helps coordinate the junior learn to scull program.
He liaises with the Club's Water Safety Advisor and Welfare Officer as necessary to ensure the Club policies are being followed. He also arranges and attends regular meetings with parents and helps organize and participates in fundraising events.
